On Friday, 27th February, the Blue Building participated in a series of games that required leadership skills. The games that we played were Lava Blocks and Endless Hoops. The aim of Lava Blocks is for two teams to use two blocks each to get from one side of the gym to the other without touching the ‘lava’ (the ground). In Endless Hoops, each team is given an equal number of hoops and may use only those number of hoops to get across to the other side of the gym safely. The leader must place the hoops on the ground and the last person has to collect all of them in the quickest time possible.

We also had to construct the tallest structure by using only 50 straws and a small roll of sticky tape. The tallest tower was to win.

For lunch, the teachers ordered seven different types of pizza: plain cheese, meat-lovers, pepperoni, Hawaiian, chicken and feta, vegetarian and supreme.

We all enjoyed Leadership Day.
