Zoom Out

This is a creative commenting game, and in order to work, we need to follow some basic rules:

  • Start with the picture shown below.
  • The first commenter writes a sentence about the next thing that would be seen if the image was ‘zoomed out’.
  • The next commenter includes the first sentence (written by the first commenter) and then writes another sentence describing the next item that would be seen if further ‘zoomed out’.
  • Continue commenting until the story can’t go any further.
  • Please read through the previous comments before posting, so that the story flows well. Check out the comments section on Abbey’s blog to see how it works.
  • Enjoy!

We would love it if our visitors joined in with this game 🙂

  1. For some weird reason, when I zoom out, I see a chair (top left corner) with a cat on it, trying to reach a table with a ball of yarn.

    Hello Super Six Sevens-
Thanks for visiting our class blog and telling us about your favorite sweets. Chewy, sticky caramels sound delicious! We’d love to see the wrapper designs your class creates so please do share on your blog. Thank you for adding us to your blog roll–we are honored to be included. Would it be okay if we did the same?

We’ll check back soon to see how the zoom-out story unfolds.

    Cheers,
    Mrs. Rombach

    • Hi Mrs Rombach,

Thank you for stopping by and adding to our zoom out story!

You’ll have to try Fantales if you ever get the chance. There are a couple of different ways that you can eat them. Some people let them melt in their mouths, whilst others chew on them, which is when they get stuck in your teeth!

Please do add us to your blog roll. We are new to blogging, so we hope you don’t mind us adding your blog to ours.

      Cheers,
      Miss Andrews

Behind the cat is a window and a tiny bluebird fledgling is teetering on the sill, chattering away nervously at its mother watching from an overhanging tree limb. Pale-coloured curtains are tied up, letting in the sun’s rays through the open window. The walls are beige and an acoustic guitar is placed on a shiny black stand in the far right corner of the room.

Behind the cat is a window and a tiny bird bluebird fledgling is teetering on the sill, chattering away nervously at its mother watches from an overhanging tree limb. Behind the tree is a big, brown dog growling, ready to pounce and catch those birds.

  5. I didn’t get to approve Rose’s comment before Priyana commented, so we’ll join these two together…

But, the Rottweiler is thankfully chained to a humongous oak tree.

  9. Jess and Genis posted responses before I could approve them. So, I have combined them, but I had to take out one of Jess’s sentences (sorry)…

  16. That startled the animals and then all the animals come out side. BAM! Adeline opened her eyes and all the cats and all the dogs AND the birds. Yet mysteriously there is a random big red spot under the meteor
